This vibrant mixed media work presents a lively arrangement of purple mountain aster wildflowers rendered in bold ink outlines and paint, their yellow-centered blooms reaching upward with energetic dynamism. The flowers are painted with confident, expressive linework over a richly layered collage background that incorporates torn newspaper text in Spanish, map fragments, stenciled numerals, and washes of vivid acrylic color. The contrast between the organic botanical forms and the urban, industrial graphic elements creates a compelling visual tension.
