This vibrant mixed media artwork presents a boldly rendered scrub oak branch adorned with lobed autumn leaves and a pair of acorns, executed with confident black outlines reminiscent of stained glass or cloisonné technique. The composition is built upon a richly layered collage ground incorporating torn newspaper clippings, map fragments, and printed text in multiple languages, creating a compelling textural substrate that speaks to the passage of time and the accumulation of human narrative beneath the natural world.
